Since joining the University in 2018, Laureen has held the roles of vice-president academic & provost and has been serving as special advisor the president's office since last summer.
Throughout her time at CapU, Laureen has been instrumental in creating Envisioning 2030 and the corresponding academic plan, Illuminating 2030.
Laureen successfully set up the Office of Creative Activity Research and Scholarship (CARS) and launched the Squamish campus.
Her leadership was instrumental in creating Indigenous Education & Affairs (IEA) and Chén̓chenstway, a living document outlining CapU's journey of reconciliACTION and learning.
Her continued presence on the leadership team significantly enhances CapU's ability to provide life-enhancing learning experiences, inspired by imagination.
